Customer Survey - November 2006

• 96% found staff helpfulness to be Very Good, and the remaining 4% found it Good
• 100% felt it was a safe place to visit
• Over 70% found the choice of books to be very good or good and 92.9% thought the physical condition of the books was very good or good.  We have had 350 new books added to Teynham library in January, so if you were one of those who didn’t like the choice in November, come in now, you may find the selection has improved.
• 63.7% came to borrow books
• 34% came to the library to find something out and 88.6% of them found it
• 15% of customers came to use the computers (some people came to do more than one thing)
• A question about the attractiveness of the library exterior gave the loswest score with 21.1% Very Good; 45.3% Good; 9.5% Poor and 24.2% Adequate.  It is a shame the survey was carried out in November and not during the Summer with Heather’s hanging baskets on display!
• When asked the question: Overall, what do you think of this library?
  62.4% replied Very Good, 29.4% Good and 8.3% Adequate.
