Good Works

We are blessed in our community with several people who support good works within our Parish and in support of local, regional and national good works.

To name just a few:

  • The community-wide effort in support of our annual Church Fete.
  • Then there is the excellent and long-standing work of the local branch of the Association of Men of Kent and Kentish Men.
  • You can learn here about support for communities in Malawi that draw on Lynsted and other local villages for support.
  • Regular fund raising takes place for cancer research (Macmillan and Cancer ResearchUK)
  • We are proud of the tireless work done in support of our local cottage hospital in Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital, supported so tirelessly by Len and Myra Scott in the village. Check the Events Page for the latest opportunities to help them in their efforts.
  • The Christian Aid Goats Project supported by James and Joe Bayford, Doddington (August ‘05).

Other actions by neighbouring communities support regionally important work
