Our ambitions for this community portal are modest, in support of our local community and visitors to the area. Since it was set up in June 2005, we have seen a steady growth in interest as new features are added or enhanced. We must be doing something right as the Unique Visitor figures are going up steadily (but should be discounted a bit because of “robots” indexing our site for search engines). The notable additions to the Lynsted Community portal website in 2006 were the Women’s Institute pages and extension of the Recipe Column into a discussion of food miles and local produce. From time to time this page will show updated summaries.
