In 2005, our Fete Poster appeared at hitching posts throughout the Parish!

Kent Messenger Extra said on 22 July 2005: “Head West for fete” - Lynsted villagers are holding a Wild West fete on August bank holiday Monday. August 29, from 2pm to 5pm. The event is taking place at Lynsted Court Meadow, which is opposite the village duck pond. Admission is 50p for adults and attractions will include children’s races, a saloon, a Wild West fancy dress competition, cream teas, a story teller, traditional stalls and much, much more! Free Parking is available on Lynsted Court
