First Annual General Meeting

Belle Friday Centre, London Road, 7.30pm
This is the first AGM of the now independent Orchard Group, and everyone is welcome. Come and hear the Chairman's report, observe the Finance statement and witness the election of the Executive Committee.
The existing Steering Committee consists of:
- Chairman, Bob Baxter;
- Vice chairman, Tom English;
- Hon. Secretary, Julie Barrett;
- Hon. Treasurer, Brian Pond;
- Webmaster, Paul Cross;
- Committee members:
- Clare Stewart,
- Marlene Disney,
- Emlyn Morgan
- Frank Champion.
All are willing to stand for election to the Executive Committee. If you would like to stand for election yourself, or nominate someone (with their agreement), please contact the Chairman on 01795 521 515, for a nomination form. If there is a ballot for a post, any adult member of the community, present at the AGM, is eligible to vote.
Please join us for a glass of wine to celebrate a successful 2009!
The AGM will be followed by a normal committee meeting to which those attending the AGM are very welcome to stay if they wish.
Note that the new date and venue replace the previous arrangements (7th January), which had to be abandoned because of the icy conditions.

- Nomination of Independent Examiner for coming year. - Amendments to the Constitution.
- Election of Chairman.
- Election of Vice-chairman, Hon. Secretary, Hon.Treasurer, Website Manager, and up to four Executive Committee members.
The AGM will be followed by a meeting of the Executive Committee. Attendees at the AGM are welcome to stay for this, if they wish.
