This is a free, impartial and confidential service for people over 60 living in the Swale area. The service was created to give people the tools and options to self manage their own lives. I will investigate and find potential options to help you chose how to resolve your situation. The choice is always yours to make and you do not have to proceed with any option if you so wish. This service can help improve your confidence in dealing with everyday problems and increase your awareness of community services.
I will deal with any need/problem such as:
- What clubs and societies are in my area?
- Is there a support group for my medical condition?
- How can I get to my hospital appointment?
- How can I deal with noisy neighbours?
- What benefits can I claim?
- I am feeling lonely/depressed what can I do?
- Can I get help with home improvements?
This service is available Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm and meetings can take place in your own home.
